LONG WAY UP

In this series for Apple TV, friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman reunite to travel from the southernmost tip of Argentina to Los Angeles, USA the Long Way Up. After Charley’s near-fatal motorcycle accident in Portugal, the team is concerned whether he will even be able to start, let alone finish the trip. Against the odds, the pair journey 13,000 miles across 13 Countries on Harley-Davidson LiveWire™ Motorcycles and with the crew in electric support vehicles with a new eco-conscious commitment to travel. From crossing the notorious Darien Gap to finding a worthy nemesis in the uneven Bolivian Roads, the guys make it through with their trademark humour and their friendship stronger than ever.

LONG WAY DOWN

In 2007, fellow actors, friends and bike fanatics Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman travel from John O’Groats at the northernmost tip of Scotland to Cape Agulhas, the Southernmost tip of South Africa, the Long Way Down. 15,000 miles, 18 countries, two BMW motorcycles, two support vehicles and the open road. They document their journey from meeting locals, visiting UNICEF sites, battling epic sandstorms and riding through 50-degree heat across this exhilarating continent.

LONG WAY ROUND

In 2004, Ewan and Charley rode from London to New York, the Long Way Round. Chasing their shadows over 20,000 miles, the pair journeyed for four months through Europe, the Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Russia, across the Pacific to Alaska, then down through Canada and America on their BMW motorcycles.  Long Way Round is the result of their adventures - a fascinating, frank and highly entertaining adventure about two friends riding round the world and together, realising their dream.
